Words of Wisdom

How about this?

Don't forget to breathe. That's right; that thing you do all the time without thinking about it? Start thinking. Just because we do it all the time doesn't mean we do it right. Take a moment and feel where that life giving oxygen is going. Into your chest, shallow, deep, do you stop breathing when stressed? Breathing can calm us down, hype us up, and can show us how we're feeling.

What we need to do is get the most out of breathing that we can. This means breathing deep, letting our stomach expand, then actively releasing the used air using our abdominal muscles. Seems easy enough right? It is, and it is not, because we are human and have so many things on our minds at any given time. We really do forget. We can however, try to be more mindful. When we are about to panic or yell or cry, take a few slow, deep breathes. Feed your mind with the oxygen it needs to think clearly, and then act. After awhile you will start to do this naturally. Life will be less complicated and you can start to breathe easy.

Intent

Noun: Plan, Aim, Objective, Meaning.
Adjective: Concentrated, Focus, Determined, Resolute, Purposeful.

Intent is a powerful word when we really take a look at it. It is also a powerful tool when we actively use intent in our daily lives. Decide what is important to you and go for it. Be patient and consistent and things will fall into place for you. It really is an eye opener. So, the next time someone asks what your intentions are; you'll know.
